The Waiting Room

This was a game design project I completed for my MSC in Creative Digital Media.
It was designed, developed and completed in four weeks.

“Hello There, and welcome to Providence Industries applicant Number 577...”

WHAT IS IT?

The Waiting Room is a first person puzzle game where the player wanders around the waiting room of a Silicon Valley tech powerhouse called Providence industries.

Inspired from games like Portal and the Stanley Parable the player picks up and throws objects to push buttons or hit targets, If done correctly this will open doors and give the player access to the next room all while a voice (The Receptionist) from the intercom utters company rhetoric and complains about the actions of the player.
