WHAT IS SONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS?
Sonic Security Systems is a home alarm company that specializes in custom security solutions of home and business.
Although competing against much bigger companies, Sonic’s goal is to provide the best possible solution based on the property the customer is trying to secure.
Where as bigger companies have a one-alarm-system-fits-all approach.
WHAT DID I NEED TO DO?
When I started Sonic was barely just a name.
I was hired to change that.
The owner had one major request when we started the project.
He wanted the brand to be recognizable, adaptable and traditional.
The reason for this request, was because all three of those three concepts are essential in the world of home security.
Recognizable : We needed to design for security and legitimacy, so creating a brand that was recognizable was paramount.
A strong brand image encourages confidence and trust, essential for a company that secures homes.
Adaptable : This was about wanting to express what Sonic was about; answering security problems no matter what the circumstances.
Traditional : As a smaller outfit we were weary of reinventing the wheel, we still needed to look like a home alarm company to the market we needed to reach.
What did I do?

My job was to create that brand, build an online presence and adapt the brand into any digital or physical needs.
Throughout my time with Sonic I spearheaded the creation of flyers, signage, a social presence, developed a content workflow and numerous other little bits to help Sonic look like the slick operation we were aiming for.
As of 2020 Sonic Security Systems has a social media platform, a website and a branded showroom.
It was a pleasure to help small brand grow into such a quick success story.
